Monitoring the vital signs of a race car and driver are an essential part of Formula 1. As well as receiving at the trackside, data from sensors is transmitted to the McLaren Technology Centre from wherever Vodafone McLaren Mercedes is competing from. With over 200 channels being measured at any one time, well developed technology & software is critical to successfully make use of the data. Once data is acquired, we visualise, understand and take action - in real time.

But its not just the present, the future is interesting too. We can build mathematical models and simulations that can fill in the gaps of our understanding today and make predictions for the future.
